Woohoo, two posts in quick succession! =)

This book was helpful when I was writing up my canon conspiracy theory, but otherwise it was meh. I totally agree that Steven was a complete jerk to everyone, and that Tricia's tragic death is no longer an excuse for this nonsense. This could've been an interesting storyline, what with all the emotions of confronting a past love, etc, but it's a little too sophisticated for an SVH book, so we get this dross instead.

I think Andrea was intrigued by Steve up until the whole creepy hair thing, and that made her realize that he was just weird, not Romantic (in the Byron sense), hence her suddenly growing a backbone and putting him off.

She doesn't look much like Tricia on that cover, but I can buy that she's a doppelganger. She makes everyone do a double take, at least.

I'm fairly sure I only read the whole Wakefields-on-the-verge-of-divorce drama once, because ugh, divorce and double ugh, politics. Neither have any place in my happy funtimez escapism :(
