Well, I suppose this was SV's first attempt at an in-series mini series, so at least they got all the suck out before the Evil Twin business.

Speaking of which - I'm pretty sure that 1) Ned is a wunderlawyer in that he practices whatever kind of law is necessary and 2) can we say conflict of interest, man?? Putting aside the absurdity of that fast of a trial, would Ned not have to recuse himself because of his personal relationship with his client?

Pretty sure he represents Liz in the Evil Twin vehicular manslaughter trial, too, which is also holy crapcakes COI.

Otherwise - wow, this sounds like a big pile of suck, even moreso because of the lack of resolution. And somehow Liz decides that it's all her fault in the next book? Sheesh.

I'm glad you're reading these so I don't have to because bleh.

Also: isn't Psi Epsilon the high school fraternity?
