Dude. Fueding ghosties makes so. much. sense! It would explain away so many of the continuity errors. Author B comes along and says This Is How It Is. Author D shows up a couple of books later and says, "What the hell is this? No. NO. This makes no sense. Are you on crack? You are and you've been sharing because obviously no one SANE would agree with this bullshit. Let's just pretend the book in which half of it is a fever dream never happened. A big eraser to that and voila! Perfect." To which Author B comes along when it's their turn and is Pissed As Hell.
It all makes perfect sense. Did a SWAT team descend upon you for discovering this? Did they hurt you? Do you need Halloween candy in order to properly heal? Cuz I've got bags at the ready and um, not that many kids in the neighborhood aside from that one family.
Oh, how soon we forget AJ Morgan! Technically the Ken thing was more recent (Shipwrecked!) but yeah. Not a mention is made of AJ and that makes no sense. Must be part of this ghosty's vendetta against the others.
