As soon as I realized we were getting a Lila/Bruce kiss/moment, I thought of you. And thank you for not leaving me hanging on the punchability of 'Jessica's' face.
Why in the world would this Eric person want to highlight an "average American teen"? I mean, even in the 90s that wouldn't have played on TV - it's all about the exceptionally gorgeous, in which case Jessica is a perfect fit. Well, average in that they weren't a super nerd/jock/actor only showing up for just enough time to say they're in regular school, maybe? Because that's the only thing I could come up with on this. So Ken, with his blindness and previously being scouted by colleges and possibly going pro wouldn't fit. But this is just a guess because who knows?
Oh, geez. I'm pretty sure everyone has kissed Liz's ass about her writing at some point in time. *snort* I mean, I kinda get it but every time Jessica does well in writing something, which I swear happens more than once, Liz loses her mind over it. And also yes, yes she did get that storyline.
I have absolutely no memory of this whatsoever. so this is going to read like a new find to me - wheeee!! Don't you love it when that happens? I do! I did a little happy dance when I read it and I'm hopeful that maybe this upcoming run will have more things I've forgotten are awesome. Maybe not as good as Lila/Bruce but still good.
all I can think about is Enid's goth period during the vampire mini arc, for whatever reason Because it's so random? So weird? It stands out to me, too, if that helps. Cookies and goth phase, that's Enid.
A canon SVH kiss?! You have just made my entire damn day!!! *curtsies* My work here was done properly then.
"They used the same cover model for both Liz and Jess, you are out of your damn mind!" And yet we can usually tell which twin is meant to be which, hair clips be damned!
Suddenly they're appearing like flies. This is eerie Never mentioned is the fact that Penny is a witch with very specific powers. ;)
Jeremy Frank is a talk show host, yes. For some reason SV is crawling with them.
This is reminding me of that aborted B-plot in Book #5 - wasn't that the one with the tour guides to nowhere? I wonder if we have a ghostie in common. Imagining the ghostie cackling about them cancelling their subplot so ha, we'll give them junior rangers instead. Muhahahah... ahem.
Aww, yay for self-aware Jessica! Right? When it happens, I'm always so proud of her.
That's the basis of my 15-love series, haha. I LOVE the idea that Bruce and Lila had a fling in high school, when Jessica was still drooling over him. I thought so! But every so often I'll mix fanon up with canon and get confused. But not this time, book! Not this time.
