And the peasants rejoiced

Because I like saying HAQ. Onward!
Which books are you doing?
Like the Sweet Valley Diaries, I'm going in order for the SVH series. That'll take a giant chunk of time, so I have no idea whether it'll spill into any of the other series or not. SVU has the best chance of getting a follow-up, as I loved SVU back in the day and it would also sort of fall under the other part of my mission statement, what with the different covers and all.
Wait, whoa, you have a mission statement?
Well, no, not really, but in case you hadn't noticed, you come for the reviews, you stay for the rainbow cover art. Or maybe I have that backwards...
What is the deal with the covers?
I'm a dork and I like seeing how different countries, and different years in those same countries, would put out different covers. I'll never understand the UK and how they essentially had the same cover, month after month, and how this didn't confuse anyone. Except, you know, for that part where the book title would be different, and yeah, the "props" would differ. To me, it's confusing, but that's the beauty of seeing them. Confusing, but fascinating at the same time.
Speaking of covers, I want to send you pictures. Lots of pictures.
1) No viruses, man. Kid Sister is not Virus Bait 2.0 or anything.
2) Either spam up a comment [which is as effective, if not moreso, than email] or send 'em to bridalminion@gmail.com, although leaving a comment to say you've done so would be the best idea. Also, subjects are your friends in these sorts of cases.
What about if I want the larger version rather than the itty bitty one you've got?
...dirty! Wait, no. Um, what now? Oh, yeah. Well, odds are good that I found it on ebay. Yeah, bonus points if you've got that annoying ebay ad stuck in your head now, too. So if it's exceptionally blurry, odds are even better that it's smaller than what you've already seen. That doesn't mean I won't share. Just ask. Again, comments go right to me, dance, and sing a little song.
Why don't you immediately reply to a comment, dammit! I know you're there!
Stalking is bad, and I'm lazy, and also, this is my side project, so it takes awhile to sign out, sign in, find that rascally comment again, and gush. I do try to get to 'em though, and I always feel warm and fuzzy, and if I'm behind on my snark, they give me the added incentive to post. So really, it's a whole bunch of lazy, that's all.

Twin: Depends on where we are in the series. Early Jessica is cruel but not in a fun way, and SVH:SY Elizabeth would be dead if I were a fictional character, as I'd have offed her for being so damn annoying. For the most part, I tend to waffle, but I find it easier to defend Jessica's actions than I do Elizabeth's. You expect Jessica to stab you in the back, but Liz is the one who will do it faster and more often. Well, at least if you're Todd, she will. Also, she's a lousy friend to Enid after awhile, and that just cannot be allowed.
Character: In SVH, it's another toss-up. I love Enid, and I love Lila. I don't love them both all the time, as some ghost writers are cruel, but I identify more with Enid. This says something horrible about me, I'm sure.
Boytoy: Sam when he's with Jessica. The Liz/Sam thing is blasphemy. TV show Winston is love, by the way.
Book: I'm a sucker for The Evil Twin. That whole arc was the end of traditional SV, but the best of the best. I go crazy come Christmas if I don't re-read it. Margo, oh, sweet crazy Margo...
Cover-art era: Classic SV. Original Double Love onward? It's my childhood staring back at me, and sure, some of it's painful, but that's how life is.
